Question: i have to put my computer on to print on photo paper? i have an hp photosmart printer, hp glossy photo paper and im using microsoft word. do i just hit print or do i have to put it on a special setting??
Answer: Make sure you select the proper media when printing on glossy papers. From my print menu, I select Preferences and then Paper/Quality. Yours may offer different options. The default is Plain Paper....switch it to glossy. Reason: HP black ink is not intended for use on glossy papers. It's pigmented ink and doesn't set up well on the coated variety media.
